Octopus Vulgaris, known for it's intelligence and incorporated into the lore and legends of sailors throughout time. Now own your own cephalopod preserved in a specimen jar to be enjoyed for years to come. 

This listing is for 1 preserved baby octopus in a specimen jar.
Each octopus is carefully and professionally prepared, then suspended in preservation fluid. Each specimen is labeled with the scientific name and comes in a beautiful 3 1/2" tall corked specimen jar wrapped in beeswax covered cord.

The octopi pictured here are examples of the shapes and sizes that result from the preservation process but these specific examples have been sold. If you would like your octopus to have a certain look please message me at checkout and I will do my best to fill your request. I am always happy to send photos so you know for sure you'll have the specimen you want.
