~Marie Antoinette would have fawned over such a statement piece~

This piece features a large Charcoal and white preserved bird wing with bits of pale yellow adorned with a large yet lightweight copper brass stamping of a shell framed by twin sea serpents. A long, soft, and whispy Ostrich plume Dyed a bronze orange extends from the piece, dancing elegantly with the slightest movement of the head. Two of the palest soft pink distressed Rooster tail feathers with opalescent hues that glimmer in the light lay atop the wing below the stamping. The piece has a comfortable felted back with a sturdy 2 1/2" long black alligator clip that easily grips the hair.

Measurements:
The entire piece measures 9" from tip to the end of the Ostrich Plumes. Charcoal Bird Wing is 5" long and 6" wide and longest points. Copper stamping is 2 1/2" long and 4" wide. Rooster Feathers extend 4" past brass stamping. Ostrich Plume extends 6" past the shortest point of the bird wing. The piece weighs 1.2 ounces and feels lightweight for it's size. Clip works best in medium to long hair length but can also be clipped to ribbons, headbands, or hatbands.

The wing is from a domestic bird that died of natural causes and is preserved to last a lifetime and more if properly cared for. The piece arrives in a gift box that can also be used for storage, as well as care instructions.
